9/29/2012 · Starting about 18 months ago every time I start my 2001 WH Holden Statesman the warning light /beeper comes on for the air bag/seat belt pretensioner. It used to go off after about 2 or 3 minutes, but now can re-occur for 5 to 10 minutes. My Holden dealer charged me $200 a year ago and said the computer reported no problems, but it was still there the next day.
8/6/2014 · WH Statesman S1.. On the dash, in the last few days, the air bag light is appearing and beeping when the ignition is turned to ON. About 6 years ago, same car, this happened and I took it to a guy with a Tech2 and he reset it. It was assumed there was no actual fault and the warning has not appeared since.

12/27/2008 · If you unplug the seat belt pretensioners, air bags, sensors or instrument cluster without disconnecting the battery it will result in the airbag light coming if you turn the ignition on and the only way to reset it is with a Tech 2 (a trip to Holden). The airbag light will also come on if there is a fault in the system.
